The Secret Song contest begins January 9, 2008 and runs until December 31, 2008.
The name of the Secret Song will be placed in a sealed envelope and will not be opened until the song is sung.
The jackpot for the Secret Song begins at $25. Each show that there is no winner, another $25 will be added to the jackpot. Once the jackpot is won, a new contest will begin the following show with a new song and a starting jackpot of $25.
In order to successfully win the Secret Song contest you must:
Fill out a song slip. If you tell the host you’d like to sing a song, and you don’t fill out the slip and it’s the secret song, you will not win. It needs to be in writing, so we can prove you put the song up to sing.
You must sing the song. In other words, if the song slip is up there, but it is not sung before the end of the show, or you leave before you sing it, you will not win.
In the event of multiple people putting up the winning song, the first one to sing the song will be declared the winner.
If you are an employee or family member of TA’s Cargo Club, Choices Couples Club or Fresh Entertainment, you are not eligible to win.
Clues will be given at various points of the contest to help you guess the “Secret Song” so you can sing it and win. The following clues are given at the start of the “Secret Song” contest and apply to all “Secret Songs” during the contest:
The song is not a Christmas Song
The song is not a song sung in a language other than English
The song is not a duet
The song is not an obscure song
The song is not a song that is sung regularly by the regular singers at the show.
Every song sung that is not the “Secret Song” helps you eliminate that song from the contest.
Any new songs added to our database during the current “Secret Song” should not be chosen as these songs arrived after the “Secret Song” was chosen.
Subsequent clues given beyond this point will be applicable only to the current “Secret Song”
The award determination is final. You will hold harmless TA’s Cargo Club, Choices Couples Club, Fresh Entertainment their owners and employees in the event you dispute the awarding of a winner.
This contest may be ended for any reason without notice.
